*deep breath* Okay, I'm embarassed to post anything, and we'll continue to try and work something out, but at the moment I don't know what else to do.

We are a family of 8 with six elementary aged children. I am not able to work with the kids school schedules (several attend only half day so I have only about 2 1/2 hours between school runs), daycare costs, and my ability to earn to cover the cost for all 6 kids daycare. We exist on some child support and a factory worker's pay. Generally, we rely on my hubbys over time to cover our bills, and with the downturn in the automotive industry, and company cutbacks, he has not been able to get much overtime the last year and a half or so... I do some simple freelance webdesign when I can find the work, and I have begun doing freelance writing on the side (which I much prefer)  but at payouts like $1.50 to $5 accruing cash is no simple feat, and as I just started I am not eligible for any pay outs until after Christmas anyway.

Most years, we pay for Christmas by taking out a Holiday Helper loan at our bank. This year, just a few short weeks from Christmas, our loan was denied for the first time in 4 years. The loan is generally in the amount of $2500, and the bank deducts that amount from our bank account over the course of the year, so it's paid off by next Christmas. This year, we have fallen a few more weeks behind on our mortgage due to one thing or another, putting us at a very solid two months behind.The bank has cited that, plus stricter requirements for issuing loans as our reason for denial.

At the moment, while I'm really trying, I see literally no way to give these kids a Christmas. All of our family members are struggling too, and in fact, they have come to us often in the last few years when they needed a roof for a few months, or food to eat - so they are in no position to help.

I guess I don't really know what else to say or do. This is my story.

We are the parents of five children.  I am currently employed.  My wife is a stay at home mom.  Recently we had some unexpected bills come in due to health issues with me and three of my children.  As a result, this month has been extremely hard on us.  My car payment is behind and my bank account is about depleted.  I have prayed and and asked God for some help, but I do not know where else I could turn.  I asked the bank for a short term loan, but as we all know you need money to borrow money.  In the mean time, I feel like I am slipping farther and farther behind. 

I need help catching up.  Once I am caught up, I will be able to stay ahead.  It is just that I am trying to catch up from behind.  Some might ask me why I do not let my car go.  Well, I am paying on a Dodge Grand Caravan as we have five (5) children.  I can not afford to lose this car. This is our only form of transportation for our children.  Doctor's visits, school, everything.  

Please feel free to allow God to help us in any way he leads you in your heart.  We need prayer as well, that God will bless us and our children no matter how tough it gets.

I am a single mother of three teenagers, ages 17, 16, 14. The two older children are my sons and they have Autism with other disabilities. Well we bought my home in June of 2007. We are already going to lose the home unless I can file bankruptsy. What happend was I was engaged, but back in January I made him move out due to physical and mental abuse. I have been struggling ever since to try to make ends meet. I am currently 7 months behind on the mortgage and they are not offering any payback or anything at all, I am applying for food stamps but the customer service center says it can take up to 30 days and right now I literally do not have anything to feed my kids for dinner tonight. I have to get the gas turned back on and pay a deposit before winter gets here and I have no car. I am pretty much in deep trouble and have no where to turn. no family or friends that can help and no idea what the world I am going to do. Not enough income and not enough time in a day to solve all this.....about ready to just give up.

                         I have fallen so far behind on my bills and can't get from under them. Everything is behind, from house payment to car note.I am almost at the bottem and need help.If I could just  find someone to help me get out of this hell. I don't know where to turn, so I'm asking you America.The worst thing I can't even help my kids and we all know they come to us first.

                          This started when I let a woman and her kids ( 13yrs,16yrs,20yrs) move in. The oldest was going to have a baby. Well the woman later told me she had a back injury and she went out on disability with no money comming in. Then I had to pay everything. Credit cards got maxed out and all my bills went behind. Also I brought a car that the oldest was suppose to pay, but she only paid for a few months. Along with the money I loaned the mother, by the time I asked them to move out 10 months later I was destroyed finanically.

                        If I could get help out of this hell my life would be back on track

As the title states it has been a tough year for me and Im sure for many out there. 
I have had a heck of a time saving money this year and every month I have had to get a
payday loan and or borrow money from someone to make my mortgage - I do make it!
As you know finance charges is what gets ya and this is what is getting me now!  Im just looking
to get out of these charges that are slowley sinking me...$1200-$1500 is all I really need to pay off
I have a very steady job that does pay the bills once caught up - Im just behind

My name is Anna. I have 2 children and my boyfriend has 2 chidren.  We are trying desperately to give them a safe and secure home and have fallen a bit behind...  We need to lower our monthly out going, and could do so with a loan in the amount of $20000.  This would let us consolidate 2 of our 3 biggest debts and reduce our montly payments too!  We need this help.  We fall a little further behind each month and can't seem to find legitimate help.  We are looking for a $20000 loan to be paid back over 5 or 6 years....  Please help....

My mother had to have open heart surgery not so long ago. The recovery had her down for awhile. Needless to say she got really behind on her bills. I am an only child and pretty much live paycheck to paycheck as well. We are doing everything we can to try to get everything paid off. But, so often it seems as if we are robbing peter to pay paul. I don't really know how this site works. But, if there is any one out there who would care enough to help an older woman get back on her feet, it would be greatly appreciated.
